Our Vision
A future where our clients and people thrive, enjoy work and make  meaningful, sustainable impacts.
Our Mission
Helping clients deliver change, enjoying that process and realising quality outcomes.
Our Values

Respect is our bridge, connecting our hearts and minds and reminding us that every person deserves to be seen and heard.

Through inclusiveness, we weave diverse threads into the fabric of our collective being, where every individual’s uniqueness enriches us.

Integrity is our compass that always points to the truth, guiding our actions even when no one is watching.

Caring is our currency of compassion; in its exchange, we find the true wealth and meaning behind our purpose.

Trust is the fragile yet unbreakable bond that forms the foundation of our relationships, built one honest act at a time.

Passion is the fire within us that turns our vision into reality, lighting the path to extraordinary achievements and lasting impacts.

Our Principles

We place our personal lives first, always

In valuing our personal lives first, we honour the wellspring of energy and purpose that fuels our professional endeavours.

We commit to succeeding together, not as individuals

Success for us is a collective achievement, reflecting our commitment to unity, collaboration, and shared victories.

We accept losses, if the lesson is not lost

Losses become stepping stones to growth when we embrace the wisdom they offer, transforming setbacks into opportunities.

We commit to doing the right thing, even when it feels wrong

Our moral compass guides us toward the right path, even when it may be the most challenging, reaffirming our commitment to ethical conduct.

We have the courage to challenge

Courage is to question the status quo, foster innovation, and forge new paths of excellence.

We commit to doing the best we can in whatever we do

Excellence is our standard, and in every task, we find the canvas for showcasing our best efforts.

We treat company money as if it were our own

Every dollar entrusted to us is a sacred trust, motivating us to steward it with the utmost care and responsibility.

We commit to continuous personal and professional development

Our unwavering commitment to growth ensures that each day is an opportunity to become better versions of ourselves, both personally and professionally.

We trust and respect one another

Trust and respect form the bedrock of our relationships, nurturing an environment where collaboration and progress thrive.

We welcome the ideas of everyone, no matter how big or small

In the diversity of ideas, we find our greatest source of innovation and growth, recognising that every voice has the potential to spark transformative change.

We prioritise giving back to the community

Our commitment to giving back is a testament to our belief that our success is intrinsically linked to the well-being of our community.

We commit to flexibility

We recognise that our teams and our clients are complex. We keep an open mind and work with the unique requirements of the opportunities and challenges on any given day.

Christopher Rannard

Director

Chris’s vision is for Aventious to become associated with the highest quality service delivery available in the IT delivery market, and he believes this can be achieved by placing people first in all circumstances.

Chris’s career started in the Prescription Medicines area of the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA), where he developed a comprehensive knowledge of Australia’s therapeutic goods regulatory framework.

Most notably, he secured a lead role in developing and implementing a new online capability relevant to the management and submission of applications from Australian Health Practitioners for access to unapproved therapeutic goods. As a result of this delivery, Chris was chosen to provide a detailed overview of the capability to the then Federal Health Minister, the Hon Minister Hunt.

Chris’s experiences with the TGA triggered a passion for IT delivery. He has since worked on several large-scale and complex deliverables with the Department of Health and Aged Care. Most recently, he was responsible for developing and managing the Department’s data and analytical capability concerning the sourcing, modelling and reporting of COVID-19 infection rates to the Government daily.

Since December 2020, he has been heavily engaged in delivering significant Aged Care reforms, most recently the Residential Aged Care Funding Reform (RACFR), which provided the new and complex IT capability to enable the new residential care funding model (the Australian National Aged Care Classification).

Chris thrives when working with diverse teams and aspires to the challenge of continuous team motivation and achieving common goals. He is a recognised and respected leader who brings the same attitude to developing and managing the company strategy. Chris’s primary focus has always been centred on people first, recognising that the foundations of a positive and motivating workplace culture are pivotal to success.

He is one of the few Architects who is truly technology-agnostic and believes in finding the right tool/technology for the problem being addressed. Vikas is a respected and recognised leader in his field, and this recognition is attributed to his effective communication, solid judgement, problem-solving ability and team collaboration skills.
Vikas enjoys the challenge of gathering requirements, designing elegant and cutting-edge solutions, building teams and implementing the development of projects from both an enterprise and solutions level. In addition, he can share and communicate ideas clearly to executive staff, business sponsors and technical resources in clear, concise language that each group understands.

In the context of Vikas’s role as a Director of Aventious, he offers a unique perspective and insight across the broader technological roadmap of the Australian Federal Government. In addition, the breadth of his experience and network present Aventious with continuous and exciting opportunities in the architectural delivery domain. The attributes he possesses and demonstrates daily as a Solution Architect are replicated in his contributions to Aventious.
