Late February 2023 I finally made the decision to jump from the APS into the contracting world. This is something that I had been considering for many years now and the timing felt right. I decided to join AVENTIOUS for two reasons:

I have worked alongside Chris for close to three years now in the Aged Care Sector and really clicked with him and his work style. I quickly learnt that we were very similar in our personalities but also career ambitions so when he approached me (many, many times) to join the team I knew that it was going to be a good move for me where I didn’t feel like I would fail!

They are a smaller company which means they really care about their people! Chris and Vikas really make time to get to know you as an individual and answer any questions that you have. They are so transparent and leave no room for misinterpretation. The amount of hours I spent discussing my move with them was insane yet they didn’t make me feel like a burden.

This was by far the biggest carer move I have made so far and I can say I have done so with so much confidence knowing that I have the full support of AVENTIOUS behind me and that they will not let me fail.

If you are looking for a career move I can’t recommend AVENTIOUS enough – I honestly should have done this sooner!

Over many years working as an independent ICT contractor, my experiences with IT recruitment and service companies has taught me to not expect very much from them. That hasn’t always been the case. Earlier in my career, there was a much more personal approach, which I believe yielded a far better understanding of a client’s needs with a better match with a candidate’s skills and experiences.
